At Arla, they are preparing to refine and update their ambitious supply chain digitalization strategy early 2025 fueled by recent achievements and leveraging tomorrow’s technology advancements. The strategy will be based on the current three strategic focus areas - a paperless shopfloor execution, a seamless blend of human workforce and robot augmentation, and a data-led decision-making culture driving actions through a refined understanding of digital twin concepts, normalized data, and a site data gateway connecting sites to a global data hub. It is all aimed at supporting a highly complex value chain, with sustainability and the continuous pursuit of carbon reduction initiatives at its core. As the Associate director enterprise architect, you will play a crucial role in the team that is shaping and influencing the updated strategy, ensuring it meets Arla's high standards for innovation and sustainability.
Drive Arla’s Global IT Platforms for Supply Chain Digitalization
As the Associate director enterprise architect, you will be part of a team of eight dedicated enterprise architects – each covering their domain of the business in close collaboration with Arla’s IT business partners. You will engage in strategic evaluation of major architectural decisions and proactively identify and facilitate platform selections suitable for supporting a continued digitalization of Arla’s supply chain, joining forces with the release train architects and the supply chain organization. Additionally, you will provide EA services, such as inspiring management teams across the organization about future opportunities for leveraging technologies and rethinking operating models. Additionally, you will work closely with the Director of IT SC Solutions to drive strategic alignment and attend to senior stakeholder’s requests. You can look forward to an exciting position where you will know the ins and outs of Arla’s IT landscape and supply chain ambitions, helping define a continued strong direction.
What we are looking for
As the Associate director enterprise architect, you are a supply chain business- and IT architect at heart and an impactful communicator thriving in the senior stakeholder’s dialogue. Your expertise in Production IT and OT topics is crucial, and preferably, your experience comes from a global organization in the FMCG industry that has moved ahead on the IIOT agenda and advanced analytics ambition.
In short, we imagine that you possess:
Significant experience working with enterprise architecture in a global organization
Solid understanding of a Supply chain end-to-end and deep experience with IIOT and advanced analytics
Understanding of the link between the ERP world (SAP) and the IIOT data landscape
Strong business sense and skills to create and communicate strategic architectural directions for a supply chain organization including a deep understanding of financial implications of suggested paths
Effective stakeholder management skills allowing you to influence decision-making processes
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
