Your role

As a System Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with Linux based open source software solutions

  • Maintaining and building Kubernetes on-premise clusters and improving the group.one internal Kubernetes distribution

  • Building high performance and high available services with millions of daily users

  • Maintaining and building managed database solutions for workload running in Kubernetes

  • Write efficient and scalable code in languages such as Go and Python

  • Managing and improving Linux server infrastructure

  • Improve the observability of services for the Kubernetes platform

  • Being part of the strong Kubernetes community and always looking for new opportunities and features


Your skills

With your experience, you will have no difficulty in handling the following tasks in this position:

  • Strong Linux skills

  • Experience managing Kubernetes clusters

  • Experience maintaining applications running in Kubernetes

  • Experience with database solutions for Kubernetes workloads

  • Thrives in a DevOps role working with many people from different teams

  • A strong bias towards automating anything repetitive
